Latent Investments Pty Ltd is our company name but we trade as four venues at Mt Hotham. Hotham Central Supermarket, Hot Doggies, Chill Bar and Cafe and Cafe Niche.

All of the four venues work together and compliments each other on a daily basis.


Hothams largest Supermarket. Supplying customers and staff with all the requirements of a local supermarket. Daily deliveries of fresh bread and meat. We support locoal suppliers and produce within the region. Hotham Central Supermarket is fully licenced and offers a range of local and imported wines, beer, spirits and cider. We are on-line making it easy for customers to have deliveries ready when they arrive. We also offer discounts to Hero Pass holders. Trading Hours 8am to 8pm daily


Giving customers the best of hot food in the cold weather. Offering hot chips, hot dogs, hamburgers, brekky wraps, dim sims, jam donuts and more. Ice creams and cold drinks also available. Trading Hours 8am to 6pm daily.


Chill Bar and Cafe has been operational for over 10 years now. Previously named AJ’s Cafe it has grown to become a favorite of all Mount Hotham visitors. Perched in the hub of Hotham Central, Chill Bar and Cafe supports many fund raising activities throughout the winter, has live music and footy tipping. We continue to bring great music to our customers and each season search for musicans who would like to work with us and play music in our cafe. We have a good relationship with the Mount Hotham Skiing Company and Resort Management Board and work closely with them to support the best interests of the mountain. We make most of our food and the other is delivered locally and taste tested by us! The Cafe caters for breakfast and lunch. Licenced Bar and drink specials. Open from 7.30am – 8pm.


Latent Investments Staff Accommodation – Razorback Apartments are located on Higgi Drive 5 minutes walk from the main building.

Razorback 10 and Razorback 11 are 3 story self contained apartments. They consist of 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, kitchen and laundry.

These apartments are serviced and maintained by Latent Investments.

Each apartment houses 10 staff, is neat and tidy and is well presented for its age. The company provides cleaning products, garage bags, toilet paper and washing powder for the staff. Accommodation comes as an expense on the mountain along with gas and electricity, but this is built into each employee package for the season. A cleaning expense is required at the beginning of the season for the cleaning of the apartment at the end.

For the safety and privacy for the staff, the accommodation is only for Latent Investments employees.
